Help is at Hand!
Hands of Compassion facilitate volunteers to help individuals and families engaging with our budget service who require help in practical ways.
We help with odd jobs, yard work, cleanups, moving house, plumbing & electrical repairs, painting, etc. and more! Whether you are a single mum, elderly on your own, recovering from accident or illness, not able, or just going through hard times, we can help!
Like to lend a hand?
We’re looking for anyone keen to join our amazing volunteer teams helping people in the community practically—whatever your experience. If you are willing to volunteer a couple of hours of your time on a Saturday to make a huge difference in people’s lives, please get in contact with Compassion Trust, or fill in the form at the button below.

We can send around a team of able bodies, armed with trailers, mowers, chainsaws—whatever is required!
Our volunteers are all, well, volunteers!, so you can trust they are good hearted people wanting to help others and will be a pleasure to have around. Plus, you’ll be amazed at the difference we can make in a short space of time!

Odd Jobs, Repairs
We have volunteers who are qualified to do small maintenance and repair odd jobs—you may need anything from light bulbs replaced, to plumbing or electrical switches fixed, guttering, or that busted door handle finally attended to.
